what does it matter that you know who your ideal client is okay knowing who you work with as specifically as possible does three major things for you it makes your marketing message clearer 
it fills your pipeline with better qualified leads it helps your potential clients self identify and so they are more likely to approach you so does it really make that much of the difference to you to know these things absolutely absolutely in my own coaching practice it's critical that my clients know who they are marketing to yes you can make a huge difference we gives you confidence that it is attractive to your potential clients you can screen prospective clients better so you end up working with the people who are a good fit not just anybody you know if you hold a mirror underneath their nose and you can see the you know the fog on the mirror that's that's not ecessarily a good client you know that all that in turn makes you more successful we need to learn all those things you know as opponents that have more fun and some of it they'll enjoy working with you as much as you enjoy working with them how do you figure out who that person is well your ideal client can evolve over time but here is something to ask yourself before we dive into this little further if you think back perhaps to a customer service experience you personally had recently so what did you like about that experience what did you not like about that xperience 
okay who do you enjoy doing business in a newspaper list of strengths you know a big customer service might be one of those things friendly knowledgeable expert understanding listener okay these are traits that make us feel good to do business with people right well how about describe the place they physically do business was a convenient was about a moment was it comfortable was it a good part of town was it easily accessible those the important thing well what does the business do sugar bear seamstress pool cleaner okay describe their staff stances well-trained polite professional lieutenant how do you feel when you do business with them you know do you feel taken care of you feel seen do you feel hurt when you treat like a VIP right think about it funny you've done business with now think about a client you've done business with now we're where you were the goods provider or the service provider okay if your needs visits don't worry about it you know if you have any luggage it don't worry about pick won't find you really enjoy working with as as a model for answering the following questions if you've been in business for a while pick our favorites on not just clients you just seem like you know they're good enough remember orking for your ideal client not just a client you think you can get big difference okay so now you going back to you somebody you were put before what traits did they possess what do you like about working with them and they kind are they fun you have a quick early smart knowledgeable with polite consider grateful to work with you you know motivated I can tell you one of the things you had that's in a sec my clients are not motivated I don't want to work there's there's a lot of reasons behind that I can't give you your motivations to why your business needs to succeed you've got to know the reasons for that what did you like my dear mrs. with them getting back to your your own clients did they pay on time okay where they opened feedback how about we onsider a few other logistics about that person you know who's been a good customer how old 
are they you know what's what's their age demographic what's their gender do you work better with men who worked better with females you know do they need to be local did they pay a long time do they express gratitude for working with you I know I'd like to hear it right sure you need 
to do they recommend you to others that's a biggie you know if your work with people you want them to tell the people a job you do right hmm where do they hang where do they go okay 
what do they do in their time off do they like the sale microfiche what kind of car do they drive what picture now is is being developed here what what the picture is emerging okay we call these 
pictures at the tops they represent your target market or markets you'll find out once you have this you'll spend a lot less time chasing time ministers and closing more deals you know max visit profits we put a great deal of emphasis in this process and though the list above is by no means
